I knew Barry since the 2nd grade. Back then he went by Randy, his middle name. We were best friends during grade school. We lost touch with each other after high school, although I did run into him occasionally back in the 70s in the South End. I last talked to him about 8 years ago - tracked him down thru the fire fighters union. He was retired, living in Clarkston/Lewiston area. He said he had had a stroke but was still enjoying fishing and boating over there. He was a good guy and a great friend. RIP Randy.
